The Casa do Carmo (House of Carmo) was in an advanced state of degradation. This intervention has the main objective of recovering the building and giving it the dignity it deserves.

The house will have a cooling system that will be based on a reversible air cooling group air (heat pump) that will ensure the production and distribution of hot water in the cold season and cold water in the warm season to the air-handling terminal units.

The terminal equipment will be of various kinds, continuously supplied with water. Pipeline and pavement fan coils are planned depending on the specifics of the various rooms, and even underfloor heating.

In the toilets it is envisioned that waste air will be extracted through ventilation which simultaneously promotes the renewal of air from these spaces with air from the surrounding areas, by a centrifugal extraction fan in a soundproof box, to be installed on the attic.

A treatment system is envisioned for the outdoor pool, by ultra-violet, and heating during periods of low sun exposure.
